Merry Christmas, and thank you for the advent puzzle which I look forward to every year!
I'm puzzled by the following - the pair of 3s in the lower right of day 10 and the 3 in the bottom left of day 25 seem inconsistent

Glad I am not the only one to think that

Oops - sorry about that! The left-most 3 in the 25th piece should actually be a cactus. Hopefully that clears things up. I'm posting a fixed version now.

Perfect. Had me worried there for a moment. Thanks very much!

Somehow, I managed to miss that (having noticed it while copying the clues across) - probably because, having grabbed 23, 24 and 25 at the same time, I was distracted by the contradictions with what I'd confidently filled in for day 6 and rubbing out stretches of it for the second time...

By the time I reduced that region to something internally consistent, I'd completely forgotten about the anomaly in a region I'd already filled in from a combination of 10, 2 and 15...

The last thing I filled in was the top-left of day 8, having failed to copy across the hollow circle there from my first attempt (abandoned during my first attempt to reconstruct 6 and the top of 13 after a false deduction).

Thanks, David, for another entertaining advent puzzle

Thanks for the puzzles, Dave! Went well though I pondered quite a bit to get the last of the puzzle in place in those top blocks. But I did it and didn't have to redo like I did last year.
