Sudoku X, greater-than symbols, differences, sums, and shapes come together in this set of 9 trickle-down (a.k.a. consecutive) sudoku puzzles!

I realize that some of the sequence parts can be skipped, but they may help some of the puzzlers looking for easier fare.
As for the 8 regions, I promise some day I will learn basic arithmetic. In the meantime, please accept this fix: the vertical 8 should be a 7. Uploading the PDF again now...

Thanks for fixing that. :)
It's been interesting to explore this puzzle and see what sequence breaks are possible. In particular, the final puzzle can be solved without any givens -- which is good because there are no givens, just four outputs. (I think they are supposed to have dotted black outlines, not orange ones! :) )

Doh! I'm really having a bad time with this puzzle. Posted the correct shape designs now. Thanks again!

I hate to tell you you've got another error, but as written there is no possible solution to puzzle 8. I think you may have reversed the up and down inputs.

Fixed that part now too! Good call on the inputs by the way.

It's easy to skip the first puzzle -- the numbers in the left-most column of the second puzzle add up to 15, the second and third numbers add up to 3 (as per the given sum), and the fourth and fifth add up to 9, so the remaining number at the top is 15-3-9=3.
Unfortunately, the second puzzle is broken; you cannot satisfy the two 8 regions at the same time, even ignoring the rest of the puzzle.
