Today's piece of the puzzle has difference clues again/ I'm eager to see if this piece is uniquely solvable on its own,..

Yup, Trisana and I worked together a bunch and finished separately, and I have 19 of the 25 cells filled in, but there's two possibilities for that quad and two possibilities for the cells to the right of the central 7, so 4 solutions total.
(That's using this puzzle on its own, and maybe I used the center cells of the other days in its row/column, but I didn't use anything from day 4 for example.)
Searching through the possibilities is moderately tedious by hand, though!

Do the numbers 1-25 appear uniquely in the puzzle's diagonals? In which case I think the bottom-left quad can be resolved from the solution to day 3

Not in the diagonals, I'm afraid.

I have three pairs I think cannot be solved without external input... - the bottom left quad, for instance, the top pair and bottom pair can reflect over the middle vertical line.
