In today's knighted sum sudoku, solve the overlapping grids using the chess knights and the outside sums.

Hi Michelle, and thanks for the comments!
The two puzzles have 8x8 grids, but only require digits 1 to 7 since each 8th cell is a knight. Knights do not contain a digit and count as 0 if another knight points to it. I hope that clarifies that part.
As for the disjoint sets, I hope my formatting didn't get too confusing. Each of the two overlapped grids has 8 squares with a green background. Those are the 2 disjoint sets - unique to each overlapped grid. There are also curved bits along the outside, but those denote the two digits added to give the outside sums. I'll see if I can come up with a better format for those and update the sheet.
Thanks again, and let me know if you have additional questions!
Want to use my puzzles in your class? Feel free to do so! I only ask a few things in return:

I enjoy solving your puzzles very much, thanks a lot for your work! But I'm having problems with this one, because I don't really recognize which disjoint sets belong together and form and 8 sized set. And am I right in thinking that the second line should say 1 to 8 instead of 7 ?
