Hey Michael, thanks for the heads up. Your assumptions were correct, the first being due to my sloppy handwriting and the second due to an adding error on my part. Corrections are coming in a few moments.

There appears to be 1 or 2 mistakes in this puzzle. O Across, F Down, DD Down, CC Across, Y Down, EE Across, SS Down and BB Down run into a problem. 64 for O Across means DD Down starts with a 4, which is illegal due to CC Across. However, 27 means EE Across needs to be 98 to fit with SS Down, but then BB Down is illegal.
I tried solving it assuming BB Down is EE Across - 8, instead of +8, and ran into 1 more problem: NN Down would have to be K Across - 574, not 514. For the rest I did not run into any errors when assuming -8.
