Thanks for the feedback Joshua. I didn't anticipate quite as many grids being solvable early. Between this comment, some of the email exchanges we've had, and other feedback, I have a feeling next year's edition will go more smoothly and be more fun.

The whole inside is pretty much solved now; just waiting for 16, 18, 21, 22, 24, 25 which of course can't be solved just from the clues we have so far. (There are one or two other places where there's still a bit of ambiguity that won't be resolved until we get those clues, but not very many).
It seems like this might maintain more interest if the given clues started in the middle and spiraled out, since the outside ones will keep us in suspense and can be used to help solve the ones in toward the middle.
